I went to Asena for dinner on Monday night. This place was great! It wasn’t cheap, but it wasn’t expensive either. I loved the food. It was stuff that I hadn’t had before – a blend of Italian and other Mediterranean dishes. The chef was actually out at the table talking to us. It was great to understand the dishes and how they were put together. Definitely worth a trip through the tube to Alameda.
I had seared Tuna, chilled cucumber/yogurt soup, and an incredible chilled lemon soufflet.
